Why Turmeric?

1 medium size sweet potato, cooked *I microwave mine
3/4 T turmeric
1 T maple syrup or agave
1/2 t flaxseed oil
1/4 cup ground flax seeds
1 1/4 cup of whole wheat flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a pan with parchment paper.

Cut up & mash your sweet potato. In a mixing bowl, add the mashed sweet potato, turmeric, maple syrup, oil, flax seeds & whole wheat flour, mixing well. Use a dough hook if using a mixer. Mix until you have a nice dough that is not too sticky but holds together.

Knead on a lightly floured surface and roll out to 1/4" thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Cook for 25-30 minutes. Treats might puff a bit.
